image Holland America Line is inviting fans from around the world to join in viewing the dedication ceremony of Nieuw Statendam by live streaming the event on Saturday (2 February) at 7pm GMT.
Those wanting to see the ship’s godmother, Oprah Winfrey, welcome Holland America Line’s newest addition to the fleet can watch at or on the brand’s Facebook page.

Oceania Cruises uncorks exclusive Dom Perignon experience

image Oceania Cruises has unveiled an exclusive Dom Perignon dining experience at La Reserve on board Riviera and Marina. Six courses will be p[aired with a different expression and vintage of Dom Perignon’s acclaimed vintages.
“We worked with the team at Dom Perignon to pair the perfect champagnes with the perfect flavours and the outcome is spectacular,” says Oceania president Bob Binder.
Each Dom Perignon Experience, costing $295, is limited to 24 guests.

PONANT offers free WIFI on all of its ships
image PONANT is offering unlimited free WIFI to all passengers to help them stay in touch with friends and family at sea as well as on land. All guests will have free access to WIFI throughout the entire ship irrespective of their category of stateroom.
It is a key step in PONANT’s ship digitalisation process, as all digital services become more easily accessible and at no extra cost.

Julia Lo Bue-Said to become AmaWaterways’ first British godmother

“I am truly humbled to be AmaWaterways’ first UK Godmother,” said Lo Bue-Said, pictured left. “This honour comes during a milestone year as Advantage celebrates our 40th anniversary.”
AmaDouro offers 51 spacious staterooms, most with outside balconies to enjoy beautiful views of hills and vineyards along the UNESCO-designated Douro River Valley.
