Carnival Cruise Line has revealed more information about activities at Celebration Key, its new and exclusive destination in Grand Bahama, opening in July 2025.
Celebration Key will feature on more than 500 cruise itineraries, via 18 Carnival ships sailing from nine US homeports.
It will offer a range of activities across five distinct areas, comprising:
- Welcome Portal – upon arrival, guests will be provided with information outlining what’s on offer, with live music and a giant sandcastle.
- Family-Friendly Portal – for children of all ages featuring a large freshwater lagoon alongside a splash pad with a shallow pool, two racing waterslides in the sandcastle, sports courts, a beach, including beach cabanas, floating cabanas and villas with personal slides into the lagoon.
- Adult-Friendly Portal – for adults, with a swim-up bar and variety of cabana rentals including beachside options, as well as villas with personal slides into the lagoon and several dining venues.
- Private Club Portal – premium adult-only retreat which will include an infinity pool and loungers, along with elevated dining experiences.
- Retail Portal – an area that will contain local Bahamian artisanal goods and retailers, plus duty-free outlets.
Celebration Key will also include an events pavilion for weddings, vow renewals and other special celebrations.

Additional activities, including a waterpark and zipline course, will be added at a later date.
Up to two Carnival ships will dock at an adjacent cruise pier, pictured top of page, that will allow guests direct access to Celebration Key.
