Norwegian Cruise Line will be back in the water from July with new itineraries sailing in Europe and the Caribbean.
It will restart operations on 25 July with Norwegian Jade, pictured, Joy and Gem the first of the 17-ship fleet to welcome guests back on board, with reduced capacity.
The long-awaited return will give travellers the chance to spend the summer exploring ancient ruins and sunny beaches with all new seven-day cruises to the Greek Isles on Norwegian Jade from Athens.
They can also island hop with week-long Caribbean itineraries available from Montego Bay, Jamaica from 7 August on Norwegian Joy or from Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic on Norwegian Gem a week later.
“Over a year after we initially suspended sailings, the time has finally come when we can provide news of our great cruise comeback,” said the line’s President and Chief Executive Officer Harry Sommer.
“All guests sailing aboard cruises with embarkation dates through to October 31 will be required to be fully vaccinated and tested prior to boarding our ships.”
He added that it was too early to predict what would happening from November.
