Celebrity star given the Solstice treatment
Following an ambitious 15-day dry-dock and revitalisation in May 2010, Celebrity Constellation emerged with some of the most popular venues found on the line’s widely-heralded Solstice Class ships.
These include
- The tantalising Tuscan Grille steakhouse, pictured
- The vibrant creperie, Bistro on Five
- A cool new ice-topped Martini Bar
- The inviting Cafe al Bacio and Gelateria
- Cellarmasters wine bar, complete with the state-of-the-art wine serving systems known as Enomatics, allowing guests to select and serve wines by the glass, at the touch of a button
- More sumptuous suites, with all new furniture, flat-screen TVs, upholstery, bedding and carpeting
- Restyled staterooms, with entirely new carpeting, flat-screen TVs, upholstery and bedding
- New colour schemes, carpeting and upholstery reflective of the Solstice Classs stylish, modern design in every public venue
Celebrity Constellation, the fourth and final Millennium-class superliner, joining the fleet in May 2002, was the first to be Solsticized. Celebrity Infinity and Celebrity Summit were similarly refurbished in 2011, followed by Celebrity Millennium in 2012.
The revitalisation was only part of Celebrity Cruises Designed for you platform which, when combined with the brand’s Celebrity Life onboard experiences, more robust Captains Club loyalty programme, and other brand enhancements, represented a nearly $200 investment.
