A ship designed to go almost anywhere
Grandeur of the Seas may be a seasoned campaigner having been built in 1996, but her £30m revamp in 2012 provided the ship with Royal Caribbeans acclaimed entertainment, dining and onboard features that made their debut on the Oasis-class ships.
Features include a full-service spa, six whirlpools, an outdoor jogging track and a number of bars and restaurants.
While adults can enjoy the relaxing surroundings of the solarium or state-of-the-art Day Spa & Fitness Centre, children can have the time of their lives with the Adventure Ocean Youth Programme.
The ships bow-to-stern revitalisation also included the addition of five new dining venues, technological upgrades, a pool-side LED screen, a refresh of all furniture and staterooms, as well as spectacular new aerial entertainment in its six deck Centrum.
In addition, Grandeur of the Seas features a new Diamond Lounge and Concierge Lounge for the cruise lines valued Crown & Anchor Society members and suite guests, a Royal Babies and Tots Nursery, as well as a transformed Viking Crown Lounge that features a stunning new design, as well as a new menu of bite-size appetisers.
Since 2000, Grandeur has been deployed in Europe as well as back in the Caribbean homeported in cities such as Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, and New Orleans and Baltimore.
