MSC Preziosa

From thrills and spills to nights of fine dining and wonderful entertainment

MSC Preziosa was christened in MSC’s customary fashion with international screen legend Sophia Loren performing the naming ritual in Genoa in March 2013.

The 140,000-ton ship was the fourth flagship in the company’s celebrated Fantasia class.

Natural materials radiate Mediterranean light and colour – including a real stone piazza – alongside spectacular features such as sweeping Swarovski grand staircases and a magical ‘infinity’ pool.

MSC Preziosa features two entirely unique dining venues: the Eataly Restaurant and the Ristorante Italia.

With around 80 seats, the Eataly Restaurant mirrors Eataly’s original concept, creating a stylish, minimalist space where people can eat, buy and learn about the best Italian food. A choice of 18 dishes will be prepared and served at lunch and dinner, including pasta, vegetables, seafood, meat, cold cuts and cheese.

The exclusive 24-seat evening-only Ristorante Italia offers a different table d’hôte menu every night, especially conceived by Eataly chefs, with dishes made from Slow Food Presidia products – a foundation created to protect small producers and to preserve the quality of artisan products.

For those who can afford the secluded luxury of MSC Yacht Club’s exclusive suites, they come with butler service, dedicated facilities and private decks – all offering privileged access to the word-class leisure on board, including a full-gaming casino and Broadway-scale theatre.

And for those seeking thrills and spills, there’s the Doremi Castle aqua park, or the swooping Vertigo, the longest single-rider water slide on the seas.
