Symphony of the Seas

She claims the title of the world’s largest – and most adventure-filled – cruise ship

The newest member of Royal Caribbean International’s Oasis class of ships, Symphony of the Seas, claims the title of the world’s largest – and most adventure-filled – cruise ship, weighing in at 228,0821 tons and offering 28 more staterooms than her newest sister ship, Harmony of the Seas.

Touting new features and amenities for guests, Symphony also boasts all the groundbreaking innovations and thrilling experiences that earned worldwide recognition for Harmony of the Seas.

Among the award-winning and acclaimed favourites are the distinct seven-neighbourhood concept, imaginative and sophisticated dining, Bionic Bar robot bartenders powered by Makr Shakr, Broadway-caliber entertainment, the iconic waterfront AquaTheater, the Perfect Storm trio of waterslides, and Ultimate Abyss – the tallest slide at sea.

Having completed her inaugural Europe season, the flagship of the Royal Caribbean fleet sailed into her permanent, year-round home at RCI’s brand new, state-of-the-art Terminal A at Port Miami, the largest cruise terminal in America, in November 2018.

Symphony measures 1,188ft in length, has 18 decks and accommodates 5,535 passengers at double occupancy up to a maximum of 6,870, as well as a 2,100 crew.

Facilities include a children’s water park, a full-size basketball court, ice-skating rink, and two 43ft rock-climbing walls.
