Cruising has become a victim of the worsening coronavirus situation in China.
A number of leading cruise lines has responded to urgent guidelines from the Chinese government and cancelled operations in the area.
Costa, MSC and Royal Caribbean have suspended operations for the remainder of January and early February.
Costa has cancelled sailings on Serena, Atlantica Venezia and the neoRomantica. Guests have been told they can choose between a full refund or a
an alternative cruise before the end of the year.
MSC has scrapped Splendida’s four-night cruise from Shanghai tomorrow (28 January), while Royal Caribbean also cancelled today’s sailing from Shanghai on Spectrum of the Seas, top of page.
