Dover is ready to launch its cruise season with eight inaugural calls and major cruise lines visiting regularly for turnaround days.
An action-packed 2025 season begins next month, with eight inaugural calls and seven cruise lines choosing the Port as their UK embarkation hub for adventures that bring together some of the world’s greatest landscapes.
Whether it’s the stunning natural beauty of the Nordics, the sparkling seas of the Mediterranean and Adriatic coast, or the inspiring culture and heritage of the British Isles and Continental Europe, cruising via Dover this year will connect guests with hundreds of world class destinations.
Iain Baillie, vice-president of international sales at Carnival Cruise Line, said: “The Port of Dover has fantastic transport links to and from London and the cruise terminals offer a seamless and efficient embarkation and disembarkation process.
“Additionally, guests visiting Dover can explore the local area, which is full of exciting activities and sights, not least Dover Castle and the White Cliffs.
The Port welcomes up to 20 cruise lines a year for turnaround and port of call visits, attracting up to 8,000 people into the region on the busiest weekends.
The cruise terminals have dedicated car parking for cruise guests, and there is a shuttle bus from Dover Priory train station.
Cruise Lines visiting or cruising from Dover this year are: Viking, Holland America, Ponant, AIDA, Saga, Plantours & Partners, Carnival, Windstar, Fred Olsen, Seabourn, Azamara, Celebrity, Princess, Silversea, Crystal, Mystic, Phoenix Reisen, TUI and Hapag Lloyd.
