Four ships, including for the first time Royal Princess and Majestic Princess, will sail out of Sydney for the Princess Cruises 2022-23 programme of 121 cruises.
Grand Princess makes her debut in Australia sailing out of Melbourne and Coral Princess returns to Brisbane offering longer voyages.
The programme features departures ranging from two to 36 days, with 76 unique itineraries to 68 destinations in 14 countries across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
Highlights include:
- Departures from the homeports of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth (Fremantle), Adelaide and Auckland.
- New Zealand itineraries ranging from 10 to 19 days, with flexible options to sail from Australia to New Zealand and vice versa.
- Circumnavigation of the Australian continent on roundtrip Australia voyages, including stops in Cairns for the Great Barrier Reef and new calls to Kuri Bay for the epic landscapes of the Kimberley Region.
- Sail the island of Tasmania on roundtrip voyages from Sydney or Brisbane in five to 10 days.
- Four transpacific crossings connecting North America to Australia in autumn 2022 and spring 2023 on Majestic Princess and Grand Princess.
- Eight destinations with late-night, or “More Ashore” stays, including Adelaide, Auckland and Phillip Island.
- Access to 10 UNESCO World Heritage sites including Tasmanian Wilderness; Greater Blue Mountains; and Te Wahipounamu
Two cruisetour options will be available – Australian Outback and Ultimate Australia – offering guests the opportunity to visit the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru National Park’s iconic Uluru/Ayers Rock, combining a multi-night land tour with a traditional cruise.
Australia-based 2023 World Cruise
The 13th annual Australia-based 2023 world cruise will span 107 days onboard the 2,000-guest Coral Princess.
The ship will sail roundtrip from three departure homeports: Auckland (31 May), Sydney (4 June) and Brisbane (6 June). The 107-night cruise will visit 44 destinations in 26 countries on six continents – Australia, North America, South America, Asia, Europe and Africa.

Guests also have the opportunity to book shorter voyages on Coral Princess, including 50 to 73-night sailings departing from Dover, Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland, as well as a 21-night segment from Dover to New York.
- Highlights include:Sailing 32,500 nautical miles through the Indian Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, North Sea, Atlantic Ocean, three historic locks of the Panama Canal and the Pacific Ocean – crossing the Arctic Circle once and the equator twice
