MSC Bellissima was officially welcomed into the MSC Cruises fleet at a star-studded ceremony in Southampton yesterday (2 March) hosted by UK TV personality Holly Willoughby.
Screen legend Sophia Loren named her 14th ship in the MSC fleet on a glamorous and traditional maritime occasion, witnessed by VIPs and top management from MSC Cruises and its parent company MSC Group.
MSC Cruises also announced a new partnership with world renowned chef Raymond Blanc whose first assignment was to design the menu for the evening’s Yacht Club Gala Dinner.
Blanc commented: “I am truly looking forward to collaborating with MSC Cruises on some exciting projects, including the development of one of my signature dishes for the Elegant Dinner menu.
“I believe we have a shared passion for the guest experience, and together we will create some truly memorable moments for diners on board.”
