Princess Cruises will next year try to set a Valentine’s Day world record for the largest number of guests renewing their marriage vows at sea.
On 14 February, couples sailing on Regal Princess will take part in this romantic love fest as the ship sails the Caribbean.
The ceremony will be officiated by Gavin MacLeod, who portrayed Captain Stubing in the popular Seventies TV series The Love Boat, which ran for 14 years. Jill Whelan, also from the show, will serve as a matron of honour. They are pictured together top of page.
Guests will be pampered with a number of romantic indulgences during the cruise.
Regal Princess will set sail from Fort Lauderdale on 9 February for a seven-day Western Caribbean cruise calling at Princess Cays (Bahamas), Ocho Rios (Jamaica), Grand Cayman (Cayman Islands) and Cozumel (Mexico), where the ceremony will take place at sea.
Prices start from £649 per person with up to $250 onboard spending money available.
