MSC Cruises’ new flagship, MSC Seashore, will become the first ship ever to be christened at a private island when she is officially named at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas on 18 November.

She will kick off her inaugural seven-night cruise and US season two days later.

Hollywood icon Sophia Loren will perform the role of godmother as she officially names her 16th MSC ship.

The festivities will take place both on board and on the island as the ship will remain docked throughout the night, with a gala dinner, live entertainment and more.
