Swan Hellenic’s 2022-2023 season of cultural expedition cruises of Antarctica will feature new sailings and more choice thanks to the arrival of second ship SH Vega, pictured, in September.
The wider-ranging cruises comprise Shackleton’s Discovery: Antarctica, South Georgia & The Falklands – a 19-day voyage of discovery departing Buenos Aires in November, and the 16- and 19-day Antarctic Peninsula & South Georgia, departing Ushuaia on 14 December 2022 and 19 January 2023 respectively.
Various shorter but equally in-depth cultural expedition cruises include 9, 10 and 11-day explorations of the Antarctic Peninsula and South Shetland Islands.
SH Vega will be sailing two completely new 18-day early-season itineraries for its maiden cruises, departing Buenos Aires and Ushuaia on 19 October and 5 November for the Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica.
Swan Hellenic has also announced a launch offer of savings of up to 40% on all Antarctic cruises booked before the 3 May.
“The eminent onboard lecturers and veteran expedition guides we’ve selected will reward guests with an unforgettable experience of discovery, seeing what others don’t,” said Swan Hellenic CEO Andrea Zito.
