See Sydney’s New Year’s Eve fireworks, peek above the jungle canopy in Costa Rica and marvel at Komodo Dragons in their natural habitat on Fred Olsen’s 107-night World Cruise departing Southampton in November 2018.
Fred Olsen promises a shopping list of unforgettable memories and experiences as Black Watch visits a total of 35 ports in 22 countries, and including for the first time a New Year’s Eve stopover in Sydney to witness one of the world’s largest and most lavish celebrations.
The 804-guest ship crosses the Atlantic from Funchal in Madeira to St John’s, Antigua, then continues to Colombia before transiting the Panama Canal and exploring the Polynesian islands, arriving in Sydney on New Year’s Eve for a two-night stay.
The cruise skirts along eastern Australia and the Great Barrier Reef, then onto Komodo Island in Indonesia – home to the fearsome Komodo Dragons – Singapore, Phuket in Thailand, Kerala, Goa and Mumbai in India, for an overnight stay.
Black Watch then calls at Dubai, Muscat in Oman and Aqaba in Jordan, for another overnight stay. Following transit of the Suez Canal, the ship navigates the Strait of Messina through to Naples en route to Southampton, via Gibraltar and La Coruňa in Spain.
Prices start from £11,999 per person, based on two adults sharing a twin-bedded interior room. A choice of savings are available on new bookings made by 30 April. Guests can either save up to £960 per person off the cruise price or enjoy free door-to-door transfers, for up to 250 mainland UK miles, each way.
