From Zeppelin flights over the Ruhr Valley and Cologne’s cathedral, to culinary shore excursions discovering the flavours of Belgrade and Berlin, Viking’s shore excursion offerings for Rhine, Danube, Seine and Elbe river itineraries have been extended.
New Small Group Experiences across select European river itineraries have also been introduced for the 2026 season, offering guests even more immersive ways to explore iconic landmarks and local culture, including an intimate guided tour of the Palace of Versailles.
And there are new fully guided land extensions, beginning in 2026 and 2027, offering guests deeper immersion in Italy, France, Croatia, Slovenia, Belgium and the Netherlands.
