The highly anticipated start of a shortened 2021 Alaskan cruise season for Seattle arrived yesterday (19 July) when Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas cast off.
A further 83 round trip voyages will set sail before the end of October, with departures every day except for Wednesdays.
And by the end of July the port will welcome passenger ships from Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Carnival Cruises and Silversea.
The Port of Seattle’s cruise line partners are committed to protecting passengers, crews, the community, region and beyond, while furthering environmental protection, sustainability and economic development.
Patti Denny, the port’s International Tourism Development Manager, said: “The Port of Seattle is delighted to be welcoming passengers to and through Seattle once again as part of an Alaska cruise.
“We look forward to the safe return of passengers from the UK, Ireland and Europe in 2022 and continuing our work with the travel trade to promote Washington state cruise and stay itineraries once border restrictions allow.”
