While the new mega-liners offer rock climbing, abseiling and ice skating, others provide a more manageable golf, tennis, aerobics and cricket experiences.

Most cruise lines offer onboard sports, but they do vary according to the cruise line and the ship. The more traditional and intimate ships tend to offer the more classical activities, such as swimming pools, fitness centres and deck games, while the superliners can offer a huge array more.
