Norwegian Cruise Line

Half a century of unforgettable destinations aboard spectacular ships

For 50 years Norwegian Cruise Line has been breaking the boundaries of traditional cruising, most notably with the introduction of Freestyle Cruising which has revolutionised the industry by allowing guests to eat what they want, wear what they want and do what they want.

Today, Norwegian has the youngest fleet in the industry with 15 purpose-built Freestyle Cruising ships, including Norwegian Joy, custom-built for China, providing guests the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed cruise vacation on the newest, most contemporary ships at sea. Two more ships, Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna, will set sail by 2026.

The company took delivery of the innovative, 4,250-passenger Norwegian Escape in November, 2015. It was the first in a new class of ship – Breakaway Plus – boasting 28 dining venues and an ice bar. It followed the arrival of two Breakaway class ships, Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Getaway, which featured many ground-breaking features.

Norwegian Prima

The second Breakaway-plus class ship, Norwegian Joy, built exclusively for the Chinese market, joined the fleet in Jun 2017, while the third ship in the class, Norwegian Bliss, arrived in the spring of 2018. The first of the new Nova class of ship, Norwegian Prima, made her debut in August 2022 with Norwegian Nova following in 2023.

With Norwegian and Freestyle Cruising you can travel to unforgettable destinations aboard spectacular ships. It offers an easy going casual experience with its Freestyle Cruising programme offered on its newer ships offering flexibility in dining, a choice of restaurants and extra charges.

Each ship features a wide array of world-class amenities, activities, and entertainment. There are rooftop Garden Villas, connecting staterooms, private balconies, diverse and exciting restaurants, Broadway style theatres, 24-hour fitness centers, world-class spas, Internet Cafes and most offer dazzling casinos with the newest slots and table games afloat.

There is friendly service and plenty of well organised entertainment provided both night and day.

Norwegian tends to attract younger and livelier passengers and offers excellent children’s, sport and fitness programmes.
