This is reflected in the friendliness of the staff – and the ships are small enough for them to remember you! – in the fine cuisine and, of course, in their particular emphasis on catering for the needs of the guests.
Fred. Olsen is proud of its tradition of smaller ships, although the line is in period of change with the arrival of two larger vessels – Bolette and Borealis – both formerly sailing with Holland America. They replaced Black Watch and Boudicca in 2021.
Each Olsen ship has its own unique personality, but never loses that friendly, home-from-home atmosphere, where friendships are forged with fellow-passengers and crew alike.
The ships help guests to experience the sun-kissed beaches of the Caribbean, the beauty of the Canaries and the tranquillity of the Mediterranean to the awe-inspiring scenery of the Norwegian Fjords and the history of the Baltic on a variety of remarkable journeys around the world.
