Setting a new benchmark in discovery experiences
Scenic set a new benchmark in luxury expedition cruising with the launch of what it describes as the world’s first Discovery Yacht, the 228-guest Scenic Eclipse, in August 2019.
With 114 luxurious suites across five decks, a sumptuous spa sanctuary, up to 10 dining experiences, butler service to every suite, a staff to guest ratio of up 1:1, two on board helicopters and a submarine, the vessel offers unique discovery experiences.
She was christened in New York City on 10 September, 2019, by Dame Helen Mirren.
The addition of a sister ship Scenic Eclipse II, currently under construction at the the Rijeka shipyard in Croatia, demonstrates the confidence the Australian-owned business has in the luxury yacht cruise market in a post Covid-19 world.

Once complete, Scenic Eclipse II will, like her sister, be sailing to the Arctic, Antarctica, Central and South America, and the Caribbean.
