Carnival Cruise Line

A procession of 25 ships that creates a “Fun Fleet” reputation

Carnival certainly believes in making waves. Three new Vista-class ships, Carnival PanoramaCarnival Vista and Carnival Horizon, at 133,500 tons the largest and most innovative ships in the fleet, led a succession of superliners that have arrived over the past few years to help boost its “Fun Fleet” reputation.

They have now been overtaken both in size and innovation by the line’s first Excellence-class ship, Mardi Gras, which became the flagship of the fleet when she made her maiden voyage in August 2021.

The fleet of 25 ships operates voyages ranging from three to 16 days in length to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, New England, Canada, Bermuda, Europe, Cuba, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

Mardi Gras

The first Excellence-class ship Mardi Gras became the flagship of the fleet when she set sail in August 2021

The arrival of the first 130,000-ton Dream-class ship, Carnival Magic, in May 2011 was followed by Carnival Breeze in May the following year. Carnival Vista launched a brand new class of Carnival cruising in 2016 followed by Horizon two years later.

A further Vista-class ship, Carnival Panorama, arrived in December, 2019, and the 5,200-passenger Mardi Gras became the largest ship in the fleet when she set sail in August 2021.

Every Fun Ship is a unique floating resort designed with your fun in mind. Venture out of your spacious stateroom and experience the outdoor areas, wonderful restaurants, friendly casino, relaxing lounges, invigorating spa, exciting nightclubs and duty-free shopping.

The floating resorts offer so much variety.  You can personalise your vacation to be as high-spirited or as low-key as you want.
