MSC Cruises has revealed details of its wide range of voyages around the British Isles this summer. The cruises go on sale on Thursday (1 April)
From 20 May it will be offering a special range of short breaks and week-long cruises on the new flagship, MSC Virtuosa, for vaccinated and non-vaccinated UK holidaymakers only, starting on 20 May.
Departing from the new terminal in Southampton, the first sailings will be a series of six four-night mini-cruises that will include a stop at the Isle of Portland in Dorset, part of the Jurassic Coast, where guests will be able to go ashore to enjoy the perfect day out at the beach.
These will be followed by a series of seven-night sailings providing embarkation also in the ports of Liverpool and Greenock.
And from 12 June, holidaymakers can join seven-night sailings that will include stops in Portland and the cultural city of Belfast and offer multiple ports of embarkation including Liverpool and Greenock, close to Glasgow.
Antonio Paradiso, MSC’s managing director for the UK and Ireland, said: “It’s time for UK holidaymakers to get back on board and enjoy a well-deserved break.
“We will welcome both vaccinated and non-vaccinated guests. All guests will be tested prior to embarkation, while non-vaccinated guests will also be required to show proof of negative test done within 72 hours prior to embarkation.”
Guests will be protected by MSC Cruise’s tried and tested health and safety protocol.
