Amadeus River Cruises has launched a series of seven five-day summer taster cruises on the Danube aimed at new-to-river cruisers as well as those who want to dip their toe back in the water.
The five-day Finest Moments From Passau To Vienna itinerary brings together glorious cities along one of the world‘s most beautiful stretches of rivers on a trip through the heart of Old World Europe.
Along the way, guests will explore years of history and culture in the Imperial cities of Vienna and Regensburg as well as the UNESCO protected Austrian Wachau Valley – blanketed with rolling hills, flourishing vineyards and picturesque villages.
The cruise starts in Passau and calls in Regensburg, Passau, Linz, Emmersdorf and Durnstein before finishing in Vienna.
The seven departures are on 30 May, 10 and 18 June and 1, 2, 8 and 11 July onboard MS Amadeus Silver III, MS Amadeus Star, MS Amadeus Silver II and MS Amadeus Brilliant, pictured above. Prices are from £586 per person.
