Cunard’s Queen Victoria made quite an impression in Southampton on her much-anticipated return from a $40m refurbishment showing off an array of stunning new features.
First pictures reveal the fruits of Cunard’s labour. The new Britannia Club Restaurant takes center stage along within 43 spacious Britannia Club staterooms. Further enhancements include redesigned Grand and Penthouse Suites, as well as a luxurious new sun deck offering space and tranquillity and a stunning enhanced Winter Garden.

Every stateroom has been refreshed, including the installation of large flat screen TVs and much requested tea and coffee making facilities.
Queen Victoria was taken out of service on 5 May to undergo the refit at the Fincantieri Shipyard in Palermo in Italy, and returned to service on Thursday (8 June) bound for the Canary Islands as part of a special Festival of Flowers voyage.
“The combined investment of $172 million for Queen Victoria’s refit along with Queen Mary 2’s remastering is a testament to Cunard’s commitment to our iconic vessels and enhancing our passenger experience,” said Josh Leibowitz, senior vice president, Cunard North America.
