Royal Caribbean’s new Wonder of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship, was scheduled to leave the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in France this afternoon bound for Marseille where she will undergo a completion process lasting four month.
The 228,000-ton vessel will remain there until it crosses the Atlantic to Florida, where from 4 March it will sail weekly Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Port Everglades.
Wonder will then head back to Barcelona, setting sail on 19 April and calling at Nassau, Málaga, Cartagena, Valencia and Palma en route.
After a series of Western Mediterranean cruises calling at Palma, Marseille, La Spezia and Naples, Wonder of the Seas will be on her way back to the US again, this time to Port Canaveral via Palma, Valencia, Cartagena, Málaga and Nassau.
