Gary Barlow steps into the limelight once again this evening, this time as music director of P&O Cruises’ new ship Iona at her christening in Southampton.
The pop icon will give a special one-off performance to a virtual audience of VIP guests to celebrate the ships official naming by Dame Irene Hays, chair of Hays Travel.
The evening will be hosted by radio DJ and TV presenter Jo Whiley
As Iona’s music director Barlow will be overseeing the ship’s 710 Club music venue and curating new talent to perform on board.
