Slightly bigger … but just as intimate
With one of the highest space-to-guest ratios at sea, the 388-guest Silver Shadow is a firm favourite in the Silversea fleet.
Launched in 2000, Silver Shadow introduced guests to the next generation of the Silversea fleet slightly larger in size, yet just as intimate in feel.
And an extensive refurbishment in November 2019 enhanced the comfort further still.
Inspired by the design of Silversea’s flagship Silver Muse, the renovation included
- The creation of a new Atrium area on deck 5, housing the Arts Café,
- Major enhancements to public spaces and corridors
- Remodelling and enlarging of La Dame restaurant
- Extensive renovation of Connoisseur’s Corner
- Remodelling of the Observation Library
The ship’s spacious guest suites also underwent a floor-to-ceiling renovation. Vista and Veranda suites benefited from renewed fixed and loose furniture, in addition to new lighting, carpets, and headboards, while Medallion, Silver, Grand and Royal suites were upgraded with a new colour scheme and new materials.
Bathrooms were also upgraded with new sinks and Silestone material.
On Silver Shadow, you can energise body and soul with complimentary Pilates and yoga in the expanded fitness center; savour fine wines and French gastronomy in La Dame; enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in La Terrazza, or simply gaze at endless ocean views from The Grill. Not forgetting the regionally-inspired The Restaurant.
