Cunard will officially name its newest ship, Queen Anne, in a spectacular ceremony in Liverpool, the cruise line’s spiritual home, on 3 June.
Hosting the event will be Busted musician Matt Willis and his wife, TV presenter Emma.
The ceremony will take place on the Mersey waterfront during the ship’s 14-night maiden sailing around Great Britain and Ireland.
Cunard president Katie McAlister, spoke of its “incredible bond with the city of Liverpool”, adding: ” It is where our founder Sir Samuel Cunard began his Transatlantic line in 1840, so what better place to officially name our new ship than somewhere that holds so many special memories.”
