South Pacific specialist Paul Gauguin has devised six idyllic itineraries to explore the wonders of this far-flung paradise aboard a ship that has been totally renovated.
The cruises of seven to 16 nights, taking in Tahiti, the Society Islands, and the Marquesas, Tuamotus, Tonga, Cook and Fiji islands, are now on sale.
Swimming, diving, kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkelling are just some of the activities on offer to enjoy to the full the picture postcard landscapes.
Privileged moments include a traditional Polynesian barbecue on private islet, Motu Mahana, off the protected Taha’a Island.
With 166 staterooms and suites, the Paul Gauguin was designed to sail in Polynesian waters, her shallow draught allowing the ship to get in close to shallow lagoons.
In a collaboration with the Jean-Philippe Nuel Studio, the new interior design evokes the elegance and ambiance of the South Sea and South Pacific islands.
