Coronation-themed events and entertainment on two Princess Cruises ships based in the UK will help guest to celebrate the crowning of King Charles III next month.
Guests on Sky Princess and Regal Princess, both sailing out of Southampton, will enjoy a host of activities designed to celebrate the event on 6 May.
Live coverage of the coronation service at Westminster and the Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle will be shown on the 300-square-ft ‘Movies Under the Stars’ jumbotron, pictured, and ‘The Biggest Street Party’ will be replicated on top deck.
A ‘Royal Afternoon Tea’ will be served on board both ships, complete with British favourites such as Victoria sponge cake. Pimms and strawberries will be served on the top deck and favourite British fare such as fish and chips, sausage rolls, and trifle will be available in World Fresh Marketplace.
