The Hawaiian island of Lanai rolled out the red carpet for guests on board Seabourn Sojourn in November, 2017, when she became the first major cruise ship ever to visit the island.
Guests were greeted warmly by tourism officials and the local community, who provided them with traditional Hawaiian leis as they arrived on to the island.

To commemorate the special occasion, Seabourn Sojourn held a traditional plaque exchange ceremony with Hawaii government officials, local dignitaries and tourism executives.
Seabourn organised a number shoreside activities and excursions for guests to experience the local culture, including sake tastings, snorkel and sail outings, 4×4 tours, archery and more.
In addition, guests were able to stroll through the town square of Lanai City and soak up the charming atmosphere of the community.
