SeaDream Yacht Club has become the first cruise line to allow payment for voyages using cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin.
Guests can now book c ruises to the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Norway, and Northern Europe using any of more than 200 of the most frequently used cryptocurrencies.
Leading cryptocurrency payment platform Coinbase Commerce will be used to ensure secure, reliable and efficient payment processing.
“This underscores our commitment to staying ahead of emerging trends. For us, crypto is the natural next step forward,” said Andreas Brynestad of SeaDream.
A digital payment solution for cryptocurrency will be implemented on the SeaDream website over the coming weeks.
