Oceania Cruises has converted to adult only.
It announced yesterday (7 January) that it will “exclusively welcome guests aged 18 and older for all new reservations for future voyages”.
The cruise line added in a statement that the move was designed to “elevate the onboard ambiance”, and that it was responding to the preferences of its guests.
All existing reservations made prior to 7 January that include travellers under the age of 18 will be fully honoured.
In a news release, the company adds: “This policy shift reflects Oceania Cruises’ dedication to providing a relaxed atmosphere of genuine hospitality and meaningful connection – hallmarks of its celebrated voyages.”
Oceania Cruises conducted extensive research which provided feedback from loyal repeat guests, experienced travel partners, and new-to-brand guests.
