Carnival Panorama

Third ship in Carnival’s successful 133,500-ton Vista-class series

Carnival Panorama arrived in autumn 2019, the third ship in Carnival’s successful 133,500-ton Vista-class series – all named to reflect the connection between the vessels and the sea and highlighted by stunning indoor and outdoor spaces.

The ship joined its sisters Carnival Vista, which entered service in 2016, and Carnival Horizon, which arrived in April 2018. The three 3,954-passenger ships are the largest ever built for Carnival Cruise Line.

As its name implies, Carnival Panorama offers venues with both indoor and al fresco experiences, including the Fahrenheit 555 steakhouse, Library Bar and Bonsai Sushi, along with open-air attractions such as the ground-breaking bike-ride-in-the-sky attraction SkyRide, a massive WaterWorks aqua park with corkscrew slides and the SportSquare recreation area.

A wide range of accommodations are also be available, including spa staterooms with exclusive privileges at the luxurious Cloud 9 Spa, extra-roomy staterooms in Family Harbor, and tropical-inspired Havana staterooms and suites with exclusive daytime access to a Cuban-themed bar and pool.

Carnival Panorama underwent a 24-day dry dock in September 2024, emerging with the line’s signature red, white and blue hull livery, as well as a non-smoking casino.

New Effy Fine Jewellery and Carnival Adventures stores are now located in the refurbished Fun Shops area, the latter selling travel essentials, fragrances and cruise-themed clothing.

Elsewhere, a Dreams Studio, where guests can schedule photoshoots with the ship’s professional photographers, has been added, as well as a new mini golf area.

A selection of five, six and seven-day itineraries to the Mexican Riviera depart from the  Long Beach Cruise Terminal in California. .
