ITV documentary The Cruise will be back on our screens in April following crew and guests as they cruise around the Caribbean on the 3,600 guest Royal Princess.
The mini-series has drawn up to 4 million viewers per episode, and this fifth adventure is the latest leg of an extended voyage for the programme, which kicked off in the Mediterranean in January and visited Alaska in February.

It is once again narrated by Downton Abbey’s Hugh Bonneville and features several new crew members as well as the familiar faces of Captain Bob Oliver and Timothy Gallant from the shore excursions desk.
Tony Roberts, Princess Cruises’ vice president for the UK and Europe, said: “This series will give everyone the opportunity to see some of the amazing Caribbean destinations we visit. Sailing between the islands, including Antigua, Grenada and Princess Cruises’ very own private resort, Princess Cays in the Bahamas, is a fantastic way to enjoy the clear blue waters and white sandy beaches.”
The documentary follows the recent launch of Princess’s “Rhythm of the Caribbean” programme, which offers a wealth of new onboard experiences and activities for guests visiting the islands.
The latest series has once again been made by Wild Pictures, which has built a reputation for creating films that give viewers privileged access to some of our best loved institutions and organisations.
