Britannia Club accommodation boosted by 200% on Cunard’s new Queen Anne

Cunard Britannia Balcony stateroom on Queen Anne

Cunard’s Britannia Club staterooms have proved so popular that it has been forced to rethink the sleeping arrangements for new ship Queen Anne, currently under construction.

It has increased the number of Britannia category staterooms by 200% compared with other ships in the fleet, raising the total to 162.

Britannia Club offers exclusive benefits above those in the Britannia category, and is often considered a “taste” of Cunard’s Grills Suite experience.

Paris-based Sybille de Margerie, whose impressive portfolio includes the Mandarin Paris and Atlantis Royal Atlantis Residences in Dubai, was chosen to design several areas including the Britannia Club balcony staterooms, pictured above.

Guests staying in Britannia Club will be able to dine in the dedicated Britannia Club Restaurant, which is positioned at the heart of the ship next to the atmospheric Grand Lobby, boasting breathtaking panoramic sea views.

They will have their own table, reserved exclusively for the duration of their voyage, and can dine for breakfast, lunch and dinner at whichever time they choose, attended to by Cunard’s White Star Service-trained crew.

Says Sture Myrmell, Carnival UK president: “We have responded to increasing guest demand for our Britannia Club experience. Guests looking to make their experience even more special will now have more opportunity than ever to book one of these staterooms.”

Queen Anne will set sail in early 2024, with her maiden season programme available to book from May 2022.
