With people paying more and more attention to their health and wellbeing, Celebrity Cruises is bringing a whole series of sporting firsts to the high seas on its revolutionary new ship, Celebrity Edge.
The new programme Fitness On Demand puts more than 1,200 fitness classes right at guests’ fingertips. The platform of video classes from fitness professionals around the world includes everything from Bodypump to sun salutations.

The new ship hosts Celebrity Cruises’ first Hot Yoga classes, providing guests with a dedicated space and heated environment where participants can feel the burn as they stretch and tone their bodies, while relaxing the mind.
Pulse Barre, considered one of the most effective total body workouts, challenges guests’ balance and core power better than any other workout. The exercises concentrate on using a mixture of small pilates, yoga, and ballet movements at high repetition rates, in order to sculpt long, lean muscles.
Celebrity Edge is also the first ship to feature high-tech Peloton cycles, offering guests the freedom of cycling on their own while taking part in a livestream class. Even at sea, guests can tune into a spin class broadcast live from Peloton HQ in NYC. This new flexibility makes working out and maintaining the necessary motivation easy to achieve.
Ryde is another cycling phenomenon which immerses its participants in an exhilarating biking adventure. Powered by Technogym, the instructors take the riders on a 45-minute adrenaline pumping extravaganza to high tempo music.
