Hapag-Lloyd Cruises breaks new ground, as well as ice, with first adults-only ship HANSEATIC spirit

A third expedition vessel, the HANSEATIC spirit, is to be built for Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, but with one big difference. It will be the line’s first adults-only ship. The Hamburg-based cruise company signed a contract for the 15,650-ton ship with the Norwegian Vard shipyard earlier this week (2 July) for delivery in the second quarter of 2021.
