Princess Cruises’ 113,000-ton Emerald Princess set sail on her first voyage from Rome in April, 2007, becoming the line’s first ship to begin life cruising from the city’s seaport, the town of Civitavecchia.
She is everything you would expect from a modern, luxurious cruise ship, and includes many of the same design elements and amenities that made their debut aboard Crown Princess, including a dramatic new piazza-style atrium, new casual dining venues and expansion of some favourite shipboard areas.
Emerald Princess offers many other innovations that define the Princess experience, including the popular Movies Under the Stars poolside movie screen, multiple dining and entertainment options, Personal Choice Dining featuring traditional or Anytime seating.
