Sky Princess

The Sky Suites are the limit on new flagship

The 3,660-guest Sky Princess became the 18th ship in the Princess Cruises fleet when the official handover ceremony took place at Fincantieri’s Monfalcone shipyard in Italy on 15 October, 2019.

The vessel boasts a host of new features including two Sky Suites, which have the largest balconies at sea and are centrally located on the top decks with 270-degree panorama views. Each sleeps up to five guests.

New entertainment features include the Phantom Bridge escape room, while an enhanced Princess Theatre will debut production shows Rock Opera and 5-SKIES.

And for the first time, guests will be able to listen to live performances and enjoy after-parties in the jazz lounge, Take 5.

Sky Princess is the first purpose-built Princess MedallionClass ship, featuring an evolution of the design platform used for three sister ships: Royal Princess, Regal Princess and Majestic Princess.

The Medallion is a complimentary, automated piece of technology, the same size as a 10p piece, given to each guest, that enables features including keyless stateroom access; streamlined embarkation and disembarkation process, giving quicker and easier access to the ship; enhanced interaction with crew members and other guests; on demand beverage delivery

Additional Sky Princess features include:

  • Enhanced entertainment including Take 5, a new jazz lounge, plus an expanded Princess Theatre
  • More than 25 restaurants and bars including speciality restaurants the Crown Grill Steakhouse and Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria
  • Eight private cabanas in the Sanctuary, an adults-only area on the top deck designed for rest and relaxation
  • Spa with Princess’s largest thermal suite at sea, featuring a hydrotherapy pool, heated stone beds, a Turkish bath and dry, steam and aromatherapy chambers
