Princess Cruises 2019-20 California coastal and Mexico programme features more than 60 cruises, with ports of call including San Francisco, San Diego, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas.
Guests will also get the chance to experience the 3,560-guest Royal Princess as she sails her maiden season out of Los Angeles.
Highlights include:
- 27 departures on Royal Princess out of Los Angeles, including nine along the California coast. The California sailings offer guests the opportunity to experience ‘more ashore’ with late night departures in both San Francisco and San Diego. In addition, there are seven-day Mexican Riviera sailings and a five-day Cabo San Lucas getaway, featuring an overnight call on every departure
- The 2,600-guest Star Princess will return to the west coast in 2019 with departures from Seattle and Vancouver, such as a seven-day northern California coast sailing from Seattle plus late-night calls in San Francisco and Victoria. The ship will also feature a 10-day coastal sailing from Vancouver with a late night call in Los Angeles and an overnight stop in San Francisco, and a 10-day Baja peninsula and sea of Cortez voyage with an overnight visit to Cabo San Lucas
- Grand Princess returns to San Francisco to sail seven-day classic California coast and seven-day Pacific north west coast cruises, as well as 10-day Mexican Riviera sailings and a brand new five-day west coast getaway itinerary with late night departures in San Diego
- Other ships in the region will be the 3,080-guest Ruby Princess and 2,200-guest Island Princess, which will offer six and seven-day Pacific wine country sailings alongside both Royal Princess and Star Princess.

The California coastal cruises will take in guest celebrity speakers from across the world of film, music and entertainment.
Guests sailing to Mexico will experience local activities and cuisine including live mariachi performances, an authentic Mexican buffet, food and beverage demonstrations, tequila tastings and local crafts.
On select sailings, guests can explore the ancient Aztec tradition of the ‘Day of the Dead’ Mexican fiesta with face painting, flower making and sugar skull mask making.
