MSC to serve up Michelin-man Ramón Freixa’s taste of tapas on two more ships

MSC Cruises is set to serve up extra helpings of Michelin-starred Spanish chef Ramón Freixa by adding his HOLA! Tapas Bar, originally pioneered on MSC Bellissima, to two more ships in the fleet.

The speciality dining concept, top of page, will be found on board MSC Meraviglia from May and MSC Grandiosa from November.

The HOLA! Tapas Bar concept offers a social and warm dining experience where guests can enjoy a range of traditional and modern shared plates and small bites inspired by some of Spain’s most popular dishes.

Ramón Freixa’s HOLA! Tapas Bar speciality dining concept is being added to MSC Meraviglia and MSC Grandiosa

With an open environment containing a mixture of communal and individual seating, guests can savour a quick bite, glass of Spanish wine, or enjoy a full meal.

In addition, MSC Cruises will be making some updates across the fleet including the changing of Eately on MSC Divina and MSC Preziosa, and the Tex-mex on MSC Fantasia to the American-style steakhouse Butcher’s Cut restaurant.

This change comes at an exciting time for UK guests as MSC Preziosa will be sailing from Southampton on several occasions throughout 2019.

Says Antonio Paradiso, managing director for UK & Ireland: “Following feedback from our guests we are delighted to be adding a Butcher’s Cut to further enhance dining choices on MSC Preziosa. The restaurant concept has proved very popular with our British and Irish guests across the rest of our fleet.”
